The scope of Heitor Villa-Lobos Chair on AI, arts and creativity is in the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to help human creativity for the arts (with some focus in music), recognizing that culture is a crucial theme - especially as public policies are being rebuilt in Brazil. Drawing inspiration from this context, the Chair aims to foster a high-quality debate on the subject, broadening its reach beyond researchers to a wider interested audience while addressing the scientific, technical, philosophical, and ethical issues involved.
